DM Event Services has years of experience organising a wide range of events – both public and private, business and pleasure, large and small.  We know that everyone’s requirements vary but here are some of the main services we offer:

Budget preparation:  We work with you to identify exactly what your event will cost (including venue, speakers, print, design, right down to the stamps on the invitations).  We will help you keep within budget so costs don’t spiral.

Raising sponsorship:  DM Event Services has a proven track record in sourcing sponsorship for certain events.  We can offer guidance on whether sponsorship might be an option for you and, if it is, attempt to raise sponsorship on your behalf.

Venue sourcing and liaison:  DM Events Services believes that nothing is impossible.  We’ll work with you to find the optimum venue for your event dependent on budget, audience, geographic location and many other influences. Previous DM Event Services venues have included:

  • a marquee built within an aircraft hangar
  • Torquay’s Riviera Centre
  • The Eden Project in Cornwall
  • the flight deck of an aircraft carrier

Speaker sourcing:  From celebrities to political movers and shakers, nationally known names to local personalities, DM Event Services can find a speaker to suit you.  Engaging the right person for your audience can be a time consuming and complicated task but we can do the work for you, whether you’re looking for side splitting wit at the end of a club dinner or advice from a captain of industry.  You may need a keynote address, a compere or a facilitator – DM Event Services has experience in all these areas.  

Programme planning:  Tell us what you hope to achieve and we can advise on the best way to shape your event. Our long experience has given us a clear insight into what will work for your delegates. We can organise a traditional day’s programme of keynote presentations, a series of workshops on the subject matter, lunch, further workshops and a plenary session at the end of the day or tailor a schedule to your unique needs.

Database development:  Whether you want a database created from your own client or membership list or whether you need a database developed from scratch, DM Event Services can help. We can centre your database around any number of criteria from postcode area to industry sector within a specific region.  When your event invitations are issued every response is monitored.

Coordinating branding:  First impressions count and DM Event Services can make sure you make a good one. We can arrange for your brand (or event slogan) to appear on your invites, delegate packs, delegate badges and stage set to make sure everyone gets the message.

Promotional items/delegate packs:  We all want our event to be memorable long after the closing speech.  DM Event Services can help you ensure that your delegates take away a lasting reminder of your message and your organisation.  We can compile informative delegate packs to reinforce your key points and give further information/contact details.  We can also commission a range of promotional or business gifts on your behalf.

Exhibition planning:  From full exhibitions to a few stands set up in conjunction with a conference or event – DM Event Services can help. We’ll take care of it all - from the advance planning of layouts and locations (vital to avoid confusion on the day), through to the setting up process and the event itself.

PR and marketing:  Whether you want to attract the general public to your event, notify potential delegates or just publicise your activities to a wider audience, DM Event Services can produce and distribute press releases to relevant media and place announcements in sector newsletters.

AV & stage sets:   Our experienced associates can provide everything from a simple back drop and microphone to a stunning full stage set with full theatrical lighting, audio/visual systems and full technical support.

Corporate presentations:  We can help to prepare your PowerPoint presentation for the most professional looking results in line with the branding of the event or possibly your own house style. DM Event Services can give guidance on presentation, script writing and technical issues.

Full on-site management:  The most important aspect of the job – from welcoming and registering delegates, allocating their badges and packs, final adjustments and housekeeping supervision, issuing instructions to the speakers and then - on with the show.  We take the strain while you concentrate on what’s most important – your guests.

Post-event analysis:   We can’t promise a slow motion replay but DM Event Services can conduct a full ‘post match analysis’ of any event. In government offices it’s known as the ‘happy sheet’ - the gathering and collating of data into a useful report to make sure that we learn by our experiences.  Here at DM Event Services we try our best to avoid mistakes but we want to make sure that we keep making improvements by analysing our results with a critical eye.  Our customer satisfaction levels suggest it’s a strategy that works!
